Star Wars iOS Game Apps Price Cuts
Just a quick heads up on some price drops of Star Wars iOS apps. I don't know if these are merely sales or permanent price changes. That said, I would assume they are on sale for a limited time instead of risk it and see the prices jump back up.

App Store Deals This Thanksgiving Weekend

Outside of a possible coffee run or something of that magnitude, the one place you won't find me on what is known by some as "Black Friday" (the day after Thanksgiving in the States) is at a retail store. That doesn't mean you won't find me on the iTunes App Store looking for a deal.
This Thanksgiving weekend is no exception and it wouldn't be the same without some great app deals for your iOS device (Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod touch). Here are some deals I discovered this year in the Apple iTunes App Store. I may be updating this article if I find more over the course of the weekend, so check back here for possible additions or follow me on Twitter: @LouisTrapani for shout outs about them.
It's an Art Trap!
This is a test posting using the new Posterous iPhone app. It's likely to auto-post everywhere since there doesn't seem to be a way to control where it auto-posts to from within the app yet.
LA Times: Did 'Star Wars' become a toy story?

This may be old hat for long time, die-hard Star Wars fans such as myself, but Star Wars today spans several generations and you may be at different level of fandom.
Today, The LA Times ran this piece about Gary Kurtz, the producer of Star Wars: A New Hope(affiliate link) and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
(affiliate link). He parted ways with George Lucas after TESB and many would argue that Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
(affiliate link) would had been a very different film if the team stayed together.
This is not the first time that Gary Kurtz has spoken openly about how things were envisioned differently initially when he was involved.
Stay On Target - Trench Run Upgraded
Apps are updated fairly routinely in the Apple iTunes App Store, but it is not often that a game app is updated to the point where it almost feels like a new game. Recently THQ Wireless Inc released an update for their Star Wars title, Trench Run. There have been a good deal of recent updates in the App Store lately for either iOS 4 compatibility (or adding features to take advantage of iOS 4) and now with the release of the iPhone 4, graphics being updated to take advantage of the high resolution Retina Display it offers.

UPDATED: Aerosith Performing at I-CON
To whet people's appetite for I-CON 29, here is a video of the Star Wars parody band, Aerosith performing at last year's I-CON 28 (2009). "Thou Shall Not Worship False Gods" - the video may have begun while the song was in progress. The camera POV is from slightly behind or along side of the stage area. There are a couple more where this came from as well… stay tuned.
I will also be bringing you more coverage from I-CON 29 this weekend. Be sure to follow me on Twitter for updates.
Punch It, Chewie! Star Wars in Concert Review
A long time ago (well, not really, it was just last month), in a galaxy far, far away (well… it about a 25 minute drive away) I saw Star Wars in Concert. I was excited about this concert tour since it first came to my attention in July (as I recall, it was right around the same time as San Diego Comic Con). It's been a long time since I have been excited about any concert tour.
